Instragram, Smalling: "Manchester rimarrà nel mio cuore, ma sono entusiasta della mia nuova esperienza alla Roma" (FOTO)

Dopo 9 anni Chris Smalling ha lasciato il Manchester United per sposare il progetto della Roma. Il difensore, su Instagram, ha voluto salutare la sua ex squadra: "Manchester - il club, la gente, la città, hanno sempre avuto un posto speciale nel mio cuore, ma ho ancora tanto desiderio di giocare a calcio  come quando sono entrato nel club più di 9 anni fa. La Roma  è un club fantastico, con molta storia, e mi godo la nuova sfida che mi hanno offerto. Sono entusiasta di sperimentare un nuovo campionato, sperimentare la cultura alimentare le ambizioni nazionali ed europee della Roma. Per tutto lo staff, i giocatori e i fan dello United il viaggio finora è stato un piacere e gli auguro buona fortuna per la stagione"

Manchester – the club, the people, the city, has always held a special place in my heart but I still have as much desire to play regular first team football as I did when I joined the club over 9 years ago. @officialasroma is a fantastic club, with a lot of history, and I’m relishing the new challenge they have offered me. I’m excited to experience a new league, experience the culture and get really stuck in to support Roma’s domestic and European ambitions. Marcus Rashford, con il quale Smalling ha condiviso diversi anni al Manchester United, ha pubblicato un post per salutare il nuovo numero 6 della Roma: "Buona fortuna Chrissy", ha scritto accompagnando il tutto con una foto che li ritrae in un momento di esultanza. Smalling ha risposto con un cuore al messaggio dell'attaccante.
